“Makenna did a truly stunning job for our wedding. I’ve honestly been putting off writing this review because there are quite literally not enough words or GOOD enough words to be able to describe what an amazing job she did, but I’m going to try!

My husband and I had a small, intimate wedding in my parents‘ backyard, celebrating just with our immediate family. Neither my husband nor I are super comfortable in front of a camera and it was a small guest list, so it was really important to us to have a photographer that would put us and and families at ease. She helped us figure out the timeline for our day and what would make most sense for our first look. Makenna was also super thorough with shot lists and ideas, both leading up to and on our wedding day. She has an amazing ability to capture your day just as is, where she’s both out of true way so she can capture real moments but also extremely personable and friendly with everyone there. Our sneak peek gallery arrived about a week and a half after our wedding and they are STUNNING. Like I said before, I am not necessarily SUPER great in front of a camera so there was still a part of me that was worried I wouldn’t love how I looked in photos. Makenna truly is an artist, and was able to capture absolutely everything in these pictures: the colors of the day, the emotion, the love… you can see and feel all of it in every single photo. We couldn’t even wait for our full gallery to come before printing every single photo from our sneak peek! While we can’t wait to see the rest, we are already so impressed by the 50+ images we have already.
